[News] Miiley Cyrus Shares Puppy Love ; Tweet Photos Of Her Dog

Miley Cyrus is in Philadelphia with her man Liam Hemsworth as her fiancé films a new movie. While some might think the Pennsylvania town is rather boring compared to Los Angeles, it appears that the entertainer has plenty of pals to keep her company. On Monday the entertainer shared several photos with her fans and ever one showed off her dogs.

“I love my life,” tweeted Miley Cyrus with a link to the photo attached to her Twitter account. The entertainer brought her dogs with her while Hemsworth is working not just because she wanted to play with them, but also because the pups are family.

Sharing time together with pals, whether with two legs or four legs, definitely has the actress busy and above all very happy spending time outside of Los Angeles. While some entertainer dread being in other cities to film movies, it appears Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus have the best of both worlds as the fans notice just how happy the couple appears to be in Philadelphia.

[News] Miley Cyrus Fashion Trend Has Fans Scouring For Back Cut-Out-TShirt

Miley Cyrus has been known as a fashion starter, but her latest look has the fans scouring stores for a new type of a t-shirt. Called a back cut-out t-shirt or back cut-out tee, the shirt Miley Cyrus was seen wearing on Saturday wasn’t the typical back cut-out shirt which is why so many fans are interested interested in the fashion.

Basically looking like a simple shirt in front, the back had a cut-out length wise across her back that was hemmed and gave the shirt a very interesting look. Most shirts with cut-outs are frilly and are closer to the neck, but Cyrus’ shirt definitely gave an impression of fashion savvy and even showed off some skin without revealing too much. Fans took to Twitter to find out where to purchase such an interesting garment after the shirt was worn by the star.

The actress has been getting almost too much publicity for her decision to chop off her hair and show off her rail thin figure, but her recent fashion savvy gives fans a chance to appreciate her sense of style. Knowing what looks good on her while avoiding a fashion pitfall definitely makes all the fans understand why she needs to find her own style.

[News] Miley Out Of Running For American Idol Judge

Miley Cyrus will indeed be gracing the boob tube with her new ‘do, but it won’t be at the American Idol judge’s table.

After being approached earlier this summer as a possible replacement for Jennifer Lopez, Miley is no longer in the running for a vacant Idol judge’s spot.

Sources confirm exclusively to E! News that she was approached for the Idol gig, but talks never went far and Miley never seriously considered it.

But, disappointed fans can still get a dose of Miley on TV this fall! She has signed on for a guest role on Two and a Half Men for the upcoming season and continues to work on her first post-Disney album.

As for the latest in the American Idol shake-up? Sources confirm to E! News that Nicki Minaj is “definitely” joining the reality competition show. Mariah Carey is also confirmed as a judge for the upcoming season.

[News] Evan Rachel Wood joked Miley Cyrus

Evan Rachel Wood is taking some heat on Twitter after recently joking that Miley Cyrus may be “gay.”

Wood’s original tweet, which has since been deleted, suggested Cyrus’ new haircut fits in with her theory that the singer-actress might secretly be into women.

“I called it! Miley cyrus is leaning toward gay,” Wood tweeted after Cyrus debuted her new look earlier this month.

It seems many were not pleased with Wood’s comment, forcing the actress to clarify her remark on Thursday night, and insist that she was only joking.

“I myself am bisexual and have always ‘joked’ about miley giving me gay vibes. Not a bad thing! Just an observation,” Wood tweeted.

She continued, “So i ‘joked’ when she cut her hair that it supported my case. But, i am not so close minded or into stereotypes or labeling. It was a joke.”

Wood added that she “could care less what gender she was attracted to But dont hate me for supporting her in whatever She chooses. Its all fine by me.”

Cyrus herself doesn’t seem to be too bothered by the controversy, tweeting that Wood’s explanation was “well said!”

The starlet then added, “Let’s be friends.”

[News] Miley Cyrus Rep Slams "Intervention" Claims

Miley Cyrus' rep has denied reports that the star's family are planning to stage an intervention.

US tabloid magazine Star claimed that the actress's friends and family are "seriously worried" she could be "the next Hollywood casualty".

The magazine cites “excessive weight loss”, “getting more tattoos, regularly smoking cigarettes and marijuana, living in filth and, of course, the infamous haircut” as the reasons behind the supposed intervention.

"Miley's become a completely different person," Star quoted a friend as saying. "Her new look and change in mentality make her almost unrecognisable to those who know her best.

"The family has actually been talking about an intervention for a while, but the haircut was the icing on the cake. The only conclusion they can come to for her erratic behaviour is that she's on drugs."

Cyrus's representative simply called the allegations "ridiculous".

The LOL star, who became engaged to Liam Hemsworth in June, recently defended her drastic new hairstyle.

[News] Miley Cyrus Will Not Be Ignored

Quick! Tell me what you know about Miley Cyrus. Chances are high that even if you never watched one minute of Hannah Montana, you know something about her, and that might be the thing to actually admire her for: She’s keeping herself in front of the media, and in our consciousness, by just living her robust 19-year-old celebrity life.

The teen merely got her hair cut and made headlines for days. She tweeted self-portraits, and the Internet blew up—not just the entertainment gossip sites like Perez Hilton, but also news sites like HuffPo and Washington Post. Questions were asked: Is she rebelling? Is she having a Britney breakdown?

Here in Philadelphia, Miley sightings are tweeted rapid fire while rumors abound. Her fiance, Liam Hemsworth, is in town shooting Paranoia (in case you’ve been asleep or at the beach for the past month), and those who have bumped into her walking her dog in Rittenhouse Square say she is a polite (and scarily skinny) teenager. I googled “Miley Cyrus and Philadelphia” and limited my search to the past 24 hours; I got 8,450 hits. I asked my 76-year-old father what he knew about her, and he said, “Isn’t she one of those girls who was a child star and is now famous for being a slut?” Close enough.

I am fascinated that she can keep up such a buzz when she has not done anything but keep up a buzz for so very long now. And wait, wasn’t one of the first post-Hannah Montana Miley “scandals” her getting her own buzz on?

There are three basic types of Miley-watchers. The smallest group might be her actual fans. These are girls who are between nine and 15 years old, and who grew up watching Hannah Montana. They remain loyal to her, even if they didn’t see her latest movie, LOL. (No one did. If you blinked in early May, you don’t even know it was released, despite Demi Moore playing the mother.) These fans still think Miley has cute clothes and, as my 12-year-old niece says, “She inspires people to be whatever they want to be and not be afraid of being themselves.”

Another group of Miley-watchers are her peers and those slightly older than her. This is a large group, as it consists of the girls (and boys) who are between 15 and 30 years old and who, for the most part, won’t admit having watched Hannah Montana (similar to Spice Girls Syndrome). They don’t read Tiger Beat or J-14 to keep up with Cyrus, but they don’t have to; entertainment and gossip sites and Facebook-trending articles cover her every move for them, without creating embarrassing Internet histories.

The largest group of Miley-watchers is the Hater Moms. These are mostly the mothers of the fan group, trickling upward to the peer group. They worry.

Miley, the girl who pretended to be someone else on stage so she could live a normal life, was a girl they allowed their daughters to idolize. They bought the Hannah Montana clothes, lunchboxes, sheets, DVDs, CDs, and even the Halloween costumes with long yellow hair. Miley said her Christian belief was the main thing that kept her grounded.

But then she got older and put on hot pants and practically pole danced in a music video. Pictures of her naked in a bathtub surfaced. Pictures of her naked in a bathtub were re-released, with Miley now stating that they were originally taken for Liam. She has multiple piercings and drinks far too much coffee.

While I’m not inspired by her tweets, or even sure that her engagement to Liam is not a publicity stunt for them both, I have more respect for Miley than her counterpart in celeb-social-media gossip, Kim Kardashian. Kardashian’s celebrity comes from somehow being a celebrity from the get-go, without really doing anything first. Miley may tweet selfies in see-through tops, but Kardashian is so desperate to remain in the public eye she released five-year-old, behind-the-scenes shots of her Playboy shoot.

Miley Cyrus has more than eight million Twitter followers, making her the number one teen celebrity on Twitter. Surprise! A few of my college-age students admit to following her “because it’s fun to be the first to know what she’s done next.” Her original fans follow her because they have to know. Hater Moms follow her to see what their daughters see; they don’t care that she posts inspirational tweets like, “You are not the momentary whim of a careless creator experimenting in the laboratory of life … You were made with a purpose.” Or sage advice like: “To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving.” A-hem.

I’m watching Miley because so many young women close to me watch her. I have to admit that I respect how well she’s keeping her kite in the air. So, she’s engaged at 19, but at least she’s monogamous. I think her hair is adorable. I think everyone is going to keep watching.

[News] Borgore On Secret Work with Miley Cyrus; Shooting Decisions in September

Borgore’s “Decisions” has been out for about two months now, but the song got a major push when Miley Cyrus tweeted to the world this week that she was the female vocalist on the track. Her tweet caught even the Israeli dubstep DJ off guard.

“I had no idea she was gonna do it, but I’m happy that Miley likes surprises more than I do,” Borgore told Rolling Stone of the collaboration. “There was nothing to hide from my side, nor from her side. It’s super cool she did it the way she did it.”

Borgore says they kept silent about Cyrus’ involvement at first to give the track a fair shake. “Welcome to Borgore and Miley’s social experiment,” he said, laughing. “What we were trying to do is make a tune together that we’re super happy about and just see people’s real opinion about this.”

Now that it’s been revealed, he isn’t worried about any potential backlash. “If someone used to like the tune before he knew she was on it, and now he doesn’t like it just because she’s on it, he’s lying to himself,” Borgore said. “I think being nonconformist is being the biggest conformist.”

The DJ said he had no reservations about working with the pop star. “You have to understand that I grew up in Israel, and the whole ‘Hannah Montana’ thing, I’ve never seen it,” he says. “I’ve heard about this, but the Miley Cyrus persona you might have in America I don’t have.

“All I see is a super hot girl that has an amazing voice and is super fun to work with,” he said.

Once in the studio, he was impressed: “I thought she was made up more to be a star, but she was pretty phenomenal behind the booth.”

Borgore said the two will be filming a video for the track in September. After that, he is open to working with Cyrus again in the future. “I wouldn’t say no to working with Miley, ’cause I think she’s a great singer. I already proved she’s great for what I do, and if she fits in one of my next tunes and she will want to be part of it, I’ll be happy,” he said.

In the more immediate future, Borgore is relocating to Los Angeles in September and starting work on both an EP and an album. “I’m releasing an EP more for my close circle, my hardcore fans, which will be super dubstep-ish, full on,” he said. “At the same time I’m working on an album that will hopefully be out the beginning of next year. My first album needs to be special.”

[Style] Does Miley Cyrus' Edgy New 'Do Foreshadow A Punky VMA Ensemble?

In case you missed THE biggest hair news of the year, last week Miley Cyrus chopped of her luscious ringlets for a bleach-blonde, shaved-on-the-sides-long-on-top punky pixie cut, and we LOVE it. Since she debuted her new ‘do, we’ve also noticed that her typically flowy, boho-chic style is transforming into an edgier, punkier look Ă  la Swedish pop singer Robyn. Think: Chunky patent leather lace-up Dr. Martens with printed leggings and boxy, oversized tops.

We ALSO just found out that Miley will be presenting at the 2012 Video Music Awards (YAY), which totally guarantees her amazing presence and killer FASHUNZ at the show, but her new hair really got us thinking—will her edgy new ‘do influence her VMA ensemble? We’re guessing yes, SO we compiled what we think she’ll wear for her first short-haired red carpet debut. We assume she’ll sport something fun yet funky, which is why we picked out this black and blue Proenza Schouler number. It’s got that badass exposed zippers and leather look with a touch of girliness that we love oh-so-much about Miley. If Ms. Cyrus decides to go a bit more casual (unlike last year), we think she’ll opt for a bold and punky ’90-inspired Ashish ensemble. We like this sparkly graphic print tunic dress with stacked rainbow platforms. If she were to go ALL OUT badass, we could totally see her sporting The Blonds’ leopard print rhinestone-encrusted bustier with a gold lionhead medallion belt and sheer skirt. But, um, we can do without the helmet. (Sorry!)

If there’s anything we know about Miley’s style, it’s that she LOVES short-shorts, so we had to suggest a VMA ensemble with those bad boys in mind. We liked Alice + Olivia’s gold sequin top paired with shiny pleather shorts and thigh-high stockings. (We totally don’t mind the goth-y lipstick either.) Bright blonde hair looks KILLER with a nude dress, so we couldn’t pass up mentioning The Blonds’ bedazzled snakeskin turtleneck frock. I mean, how good would that look with a short ‘do? We rest our case. We don’t doubt that Miley’s feeling straight-up fierce lately with her new hair, so we had to throw in a show-stopping, sculpted red, black and animal print Balenciaga number. WOWZA. But what do you think—will Miley’s new hair change her VMA look? Let us know in the comments!

[News] Miley Didn't Unfollow Perez Hilton

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton caused some trouble on Twitter last night, after posting a video of Zayn Malik – member of One Direction, who deleted his Twitter after receiving too much hate – which showed him allegedly asking a girl back to his hotel room, even though he has a girlfriend.

This, somehow, lead to a rumour that Miley unfollowed Perez on Twitter after his comments about Zayn. A couple of sites have made articles about celebrities unfollowing him, including Miley, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears. However it’s not true! Earlier today,

Miley tweeted:
@MileyCyrus i don’t know why everyone’s saying I unfollowed Perez I never followed in the 1st place. I have no hard feelings just don’t care 2 gossip.

[Compete] Who Wore Better? Miley Cyrus or Sammi Sweetheart

Miley Cyrus and Sammi Sweetheart have more in common than you think — they both have muscular boyfriends, they adore their dogs, and apparently, they both love hoop-earrings.

The Jersey Shore star tweeted a photo of herself wearing the large accesories last week, and singer/actress Miley was spotted rocking the look while driving around Philadelphia, PA earlier in the week.

No, Sammi’s hoops aren’t accompanied by a partially shaved blond bob, but we still couldn’t help but compare these two starlets’ similar styles. Who do you think wore it best?

[News] Miley Cyrus Walks Into Living Room of Philly Pastry Chef

Pastry chef Carolyn Santamauro was tending to her young children when she noticed a familiar face in the alley in front of her house: Miley Cyrus. Cyrus was doing some sightseeing on Elfreth's Alley (where Santamauro resides with her family) and she invited her in for some lemon sandwich cookies she had just pulled out of the oven.

"Our homes are sometimes part of Philly tours, since it's the oldest residential street in the U.S., so we're used to it," Santamauro told Eater. "But, it's never Miley Cyrus. Those people don't usually walk into your house."

Santamauro, who spent time in the catering world, was working on launching her own pastry project in Philly before she got pregnant. She plans on getting back to it when the kids are a little older. Since Cyrus was such a big fan of her baked goods, she might want to give her a ring when the time comes for securing investor cash.

[News] LADY GAGA VS. MILEY CYRUS: WHO’S MORE FUN TO FOLLOW ON TWITTER? – READERS POLL

Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus are two of pop music’s most active Twitter users, sharing an endless amount of awesome photos and constantly giving love to their fans. Both of these women utilize Twitter to its full potential, using the social networking site to make official announcements, connect with fans, and share advice with those who need it. So, out of Gaga and Miley, who is more fun to follow on Twitter?
Little monsters can basically follow Gaga’s every move thanks to Twitter, as she constantly updates them on her whereabouts and what she’s been doing. For example, earlier today, she wrote, “off to VIENNA! I’m so excited. Romania was a beautiful “little paris” and i can’t wait for the next city!” She also shared a picture that one of her loyal fans drew her, showering her listeners with words of affection by writing, “Check out amazing drawing! i love my fans.@LouisVuitton.”
Meanwhile, like Gaga, Miley Cyrus also gives her fans tons of love through Twitter. She also tweets photos of herself in her favorite outfits and shares pictures of her and soon-to-be hubby Liam Hemsworth chilling with their pack of dogs (seriously, they have A LOT of dogs). Earlier this week, Miley also shared some big news through Twitter after she cut all of hair off into a pixie ‘do.
It’s really great that both of these ladies let the Twittersphere into their personal lives, but whose tweets really brighten up your day? Check out Lady Gaga’s official Twitter page and then take a peak at Miley Cyrus’ official Twitter page, and be sure to comment below to tell us!

[News] Miley Cyrus joins cast of 'Two and a Half Men'; Cyrus tweets 'crazy pants' photo

Good news for Miley Cyrus and her career. Wednesday reports of Miley Cyrus joining the cast of “Two and a Half Men,” has fans happy. It may only be a guest role, but perhaps it will work into something more. Returning to television, thousands of girls that have grown up with the former “Hannah Montana” star, will watch the show loyally. Many fans have missed seeing Miley on the TV set every day, and although this is a totally different series the comedy timing of Cyrus, should be a benefit to the show. Cyrus has a solid fan base and even the criticism over her recent haircut and bleaching will not phase her fans. Cyrus has also been in the news for a recent sighting of Miley smoking in the car. Miley has also been in the news revealing her engagement plans, too short shorts, no pants and today’s report of see through blouse. Of course Miley Cyrus was just sharing a photo of her “crazy pants,” but media focused on the sheer blouse instead.
Miley posted, “It was just one of those CUHHH-RAZY pant days . . .”
All this publicity might turn out to be a good thing for “Two and a Half Men” since no publicity at all, is not a good thing, according to many in Hollywood. As Oscar Wilde once said, “The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.”

[News] Short Hair? Don't Care!

Miley Cyrus is embracing her new style and haircut! After the 19-year-old former Disney starlet received backlash for snipping her hair short, including a harsh tweet from Tyler, the Creator, she posted a series of photos on Twitter. While flaunting her new-do in the first photo, Miley kept her outfit simple in a black and white dress with a pair of black Doc Martens. But, the following photo turned things up! In the risque pic, Miley took a picture of herself in front of a mirror wearing a sheer white top exposing her black bra underneath. Accompanying the photo, she tweeted:
There must be something in the Philadelphia air, as Miley's there supporting her fiance Liam Hemsworth on set of his new film.

[News] Why All The Fuss About Miley Having Her Hair Cut?

Like everyone else who is done with puberty and has managed to cling on to a sense of proportion, I don’t take a lot of interest in Miley Cyrus, the former Disney star who is apparently corrupting millions of young girls by wearing bikinis and smoking legal substances. Earlier this week, however, even I was made aware of her latest highly publicised decision: to cut off her long hair. My initial reaction to this information was, “Who cares?”, but quite a lot of Twitter users did care and these people had no hesitation in expressing their disgust at this fashion choice. “When Miley Cyrus said the best of both worlds no one thought she meant one day she would be a boy,” said one user, who I’m assuming was never told that having a haircut isn’t the same as having a sex change operation. A mock Twitter account joked that Cyrus was “trying to look like Draco Malfoy”. Several other users seemed to be incapable of processing the idea that any woman would want to do this to herself, and compared the haircut with when an allegedly mentally unstable Britney Spears shaved her head in 2007. The internet seemed to be unanimous: you can’t be a woman and have short hair at the same time. Sorry, Miley; we’re going to have to revoke your vagina. Your new penis will arrive by first-class post in four to five working days. In the meantime, you might want to do something about those breasts. However, it soon became apparent that it was not just Cyrus’s appearance that was causing the Twitter users of the world to take to their keyboards. According to Twitter (and if we can all agree on anything it is that information found on Twitter is always utterly infallible), the hair she cut off was donated to a cancer charity. Donating to charity is great and, if this is true, I’m pleased that Cyrus chose to support a good cause. For the users of Twitter, this changed everything. Soon I was seeing posts like:
“Miley Cyrus cut her hair to raise money for cancer. Before you judge, learn the facts.” “Just so all of you know, Miley Cyrus donated her hair to a cancer charity … who’s ugly now?”
That’s right, folks. She might have committed the terrible misdeed of cutting the hair that grows on her own head but she’s redeemed herself by raising some money for charity. Presumably these people believe that if she’d cut her hair because she thought it might look nice (the horror!) then calling her ugly and questioning her gender would be perfectly justified. So if we want to be horrible about a girl’s appearance then we just have to pick one who doesn’t have the means to make big charity donations. I can’t say I am particularly shocked that the internet feels that a pretty, young girl has to justify cutting her hair off. It goes without saying that long hair has been associated with femininity for as long as anyone can remember. I could probably count the number of women I know who have cropped hair on one hand, while the friends who wear theirs at elbow-length are the ones whose hair receives the most compliments. You might see the occasional fashion magazine praising the pixie cuts of actresses like Michelle Williams or Carey Mulligan, but most of the women we are told to aspire to look like have hair that looks like it should be being swished around in shampoo adverts, as do the women who top the countless “sexiest woman” polls in men’s magazines. Long hair on a girl “just looks right”, according to this article on lovelyish.com about why men love long hair (just in case you’d forgotten that your appearance should be geared around what men like, ladies). Actress Emma Watson, who had her long, wavy hair cut into a pixie crop in August 2010, has said that her short hair made it more difficult to find acting roles and even prompted journalists to ask her whether she was coming out of the closet. When actresses like Watson and Cyrus, who found fame playing wholesome characters when they were only children themselves, cut their hair off, we are told that they are “shedding their good girl image“. The media convinces us that cropping your hair is a career move, a publicity stunt. These women can’t possibly think this looks good, so they must be doing it for another reason. Frankly, this is utter bollocks. Cyrus’s haircut is just that: a haircut. It’s not a rejection of femininity, it’s not a political statement and it’s certainly not an attempt to change gender. It’s a haircut. The boys-have-short-hair-girls-have-long-hair mentality may be ingrained but I think, deep down, we all know it’s ridiculous. The person who presented Tilda Swinton with her Academy award didn’t say, “Hang on a moment, this is the award for best supporting actress but you’re clearly a man. Go and sit down, you short-haired fraud; we’re giving this to Jessica Alba because she has proper girl hair.” No one is going to question Annie Lennox’s position as the female artist to have won the most Brit awards just because of her short, “unfeminine” haircut. And sometimes men even defy this convention too! Take Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn in Lord of the Rings, Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean or Chris Hemsworth as the title character of Thor. All these characters have long hair, but are they accused of being women? No. They are strong characters, fighters, and also considered to be very, very attractive by a lot of people. Do we ignore the fact that Aragorn is a brave and skilled warrior just because he has “long girl hair”? No. When a woman in the limelight makes a big change to her appearance it always comes under scrutiny, but cutting off long hair is always seen as one of the most radical things a woman can do to her appearance. Rihanna and Katy Perry dye their hair colours that don’t even feature on the spectrum of natural human hair colour and they still get less attention for it than Miley Cyrus has with this haircut. More to the point, the public seems to decide that any woman who crops her hair must want to look like a boy and therefore has opened herself to being fairly mocked and ridiculed – unless she did it for a good cause, of course. Well, no, actually, that’s not how it works. If you are willing to make spiteful comments about a woman, even go so far as to question her gender and sexuality, because of her hairstyle then you’re a nasty person. Even if you take back your mean comments when you find out the person you’re insulting did something nice, you’re still a nasty person, now with added hypocrisy. When a woman breaks one of the conventions of femininity that you so desperately cling to, she’s not wronged you in any way. Cyrus is clearly pleased with her haircut, as she has posted several photos of herself since she changed it and has tweeted that she has “never felt more me in my whole life” and feels “so happy and pretty”. Why isn’t this a good enough reason for her to cut her hair? Why do people feel that we accept this hairstyle because of her alleged charity donation rather than the fact that she is happy with how she looks? Ultimately, if the hair isn’t attached to your head then you don’t get to decide what happens to it. Women shouldn’t have to make charity donations in order to justify a haircut.
